PUPPY SOCIALIZATION

 

Drop-in every Wednesday at 6:30pm. 

 

If you have a puppy, you NEED this class! Thousands of dogs are put down each year because they were not given the right start to life - SOCIALIZATION! (Very few dogs are ever put down merely because they do not know how to sit or down). This class centers on providing interesting and creative social situations and crate training puppies before they are 5 months old. The socializing window for puppies ends between 16 - 20 weeks of age. Prior to 20 weeks of age, you want to expose your puppy in a safe way, to as many positive training experiences as you can. Our professional staff will help you deal with any problems that may arise.

Our Boarding kennels are ready for the long weekend and space is still available.

WALKING CLASS 

 

Saturday February 4th at 1:00pm (weather permitting, please call to confirm class is on.)

$10.00/dog/class

When you walk your dog down the street, who is walking who?  If that is a bit hard to distinguish, or if your shoulder is being pulled out of its socket then this is the class for you!  This class is held every other Saturday at 1:00pm throughout the fall and winter months and is weather permitting so be sure to call first to confirm it is on.  Our Instructors will take you out on the streets where you will encounter real-life situations (cats, dogs, people, traffic…) and help you teach your dog to walk politely with you.  Dogs that pull on leash can be harmful to everyone including themselves (collapsed trachea, pulling into traffic, slipping the collar) – we want to help you keep your dog (and yourself) safe!  This class is a drop in however it is recommended that you call to confirm the class is on that night (weather and attendance dictate).
