About this Class

Sporting Scent Detection is an activity that is growing in popularity for good reason. Scent Detection is a great way to spend time with your dog, building a bond as you work together as a team using your dog’s strongest sense: his ability to sniff!

Skills learned in this seminar can be transferred to play at home with your dog once you have learned the basics, and is an excellent way to offer critical mental stimulation for your dog. Dogspaw is pleased to offer this introductory seminar featuring guest professional trainer Roseanna Gullekson, BFA, CPDT-KA. You and your dog learn how to  detect the location of the planted odour, challenging his nose and his brain, giving him a thorough workout mentally. If you wish, you may follow up with Sniffin’ Fun Classes, but you and your dog must have completed an Introductory Seminar (including ones we have held in the past). Spaces are very limited.
