Crate Games

Teach your dog to love their crate. Dogs are den animals and therefore appreciate a place to call home. This class will teach you to have your dog target their crate and love being in it. Crate training benefits dogs in many ways

Safety at home – if fire breaks out while you are not home your dog is safely contained and the fireman can safely move your dog in their crate without incident
Comfort – Anywhere you go you can take your dogs crate and they will have a place they will feel comfortable no matter where they are…camping, vacation, visiting relatives…
Privacy – Provides your dog with their “Own room” – to get away from chaos, children, visitors or any other stressful situations.
Safety in Vehicle – If you are ever in an accident your dog is contained and not running free on a busy street.
They are everywhere – When you take your dog to the vet, groomers or a boarding facility they will be more relaxed (and the staff will really appreciate your quiet dog) in the kennel. If your dog were to ever get picked up by the pound they unfortunately will not be allowed to hang out with the staff in the lunchroom.

Crates are not mean, nor do they have to be scary! This class will help you make the crate a fun place your dog will WANT to be.
